In 2012, Gunnar Detto left the corporate world behind to follow his passion for bag design. Today, his Diboni bags are among the highest quality bags in the industry, meticulously crafted with some of the best Northern Italian and German leathers.

All Diboni bags are sustainably produced in Hanover, Germany by a small group of artisans who are paid fairly for their craft. Each bag receives tender care throughout the construction process—some bags even requiring up to two years to complete. This slow production ensures your Diboni bag will be at your side for years to come.

“Diboni comes from Latin and means ‘the good gods,’” says Detto. “We found that is a good omen for people who are enthusiastic about the beautiful and good in life. Our philosophy is to celebrate life, wherever we can.”
